Group dates:The group will depart Melbourne on 4 December 2026 and return six weeks later (once flights are confirmed with the airline).Travel choices: You can travel on our group dates or on your own dates, as long as your stay is during the French school year (September–June), with arrival on Saturday morning and departure on Saturday afternoon/evening.

Guaranteed Private School Placement
We hope to cause as little disruption as possible to the day-to-day life of your school. The visiting French student will need an extra chair and very little else! Some schools choose to create a special timetable for the French students so that they can experience more subjects, especially if their Australian correspondent is doing revision or exams, but that is up to the school. Additionally, the French student is not expected to be assessed on any coursework, although they do enjoy having their own copy of classwork so they can follow along.

“Emily in Paris” Theme Trip
Paris Add-On (4 Days / 3 Nights)
AFX is organising an optional “Emily in Paris” themed add-on for our participants:
4 days / 3 nights in Paris, featuring visits to many of the show’s most iconic locations and key Paris highlights.

This add-on is planned to run for 4 days from the group’s arrival in Paris, on the first weekend of December 2026.

Ski Trip
7-Night Add-On (All Levels Welcome)
AFX is organising an optional ski week add-on for our participants:
Designed as the perfect winter finale to the trip. Open to all levels, from first-timers to confident skiers, with the option to include lessons and suitable on-mountain experiences for beginners through to advanced.
